Teachers and music leaders working with 11-18s, and a few of their advanced students, joined us for our UK Jazz Experience teacher workshops in Autumn 2011.

At the workshops the participants had the opportunity to work with Yamaha Europe jazz flute artist and former jazz flute professor at the Royal Academy of Music, Geoff Warren, and leading jazz educator and broadcaster Richard Michael. The feedback from teachers who attended the workshops has, once again, been extremely positive and teachers felt they were able to go away with some new skills, some milestones for their own development in improvising and some classroom ideas which they felt confident to use immediately. 

The workshops wore hosted by Bolton Music Service, Cumbria Music Service, Seal Hayne (Newton Abbot, Devon), and the Bull's Head Jazz Club (Barnes, SW London).
